Kristi Noem is after the Men in Chicken Suits!!

According to Merriam-Webster, “corruption” can refer to dishonest or illegal behavior by those in power, the state of being depraved or wicked, a departure from what is pure or correct, or decay and decomposition. Merriam-Webster defines it specifically as “dishonest or illegal behavior especially by powerful people (such as government officials or police officers)” and as “a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct”.

The definition is a text book description of what is happening today with Trump and his gang of criminals. Again and again, Trump and his derelicts have strategically gaslit and misinformed US citizens about people, the economy and their programs. Trump lies (we all know it). His cabinet members regularly lie also, to support him. This administration cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Seriously. Everyone is learning that this administration cannot be trusted with anything.

Many of our western allies have patiently waited for some semblance of reason and an opportunity for collaboration. Canada is a good example. As the largest trading partner with the United States, they are interested in working out some sort of a deal with the United States to reduce tariffs. They have waited patiently, trying to be constructive with the idiots of the Trump Administration, but to no avail. In the most recent meeting between the two heads of State, Trump again started suggesting that Canada should be part of the United States. The dumb fuck.

This is the shit other country leaders have to deal with, when they try to work with Trump. Fantasy world crap from Trumps small brain, that is compete bullshit, but dangerous to ignore. World leaders are learning that rather than trying to forge agreements based on sound information and collaboration, the easiest method to garner an audience is to give a gift to Trump. So, now foreign diplomatic relations involves transferring millions of dollars to Trump and his cronies or giving Trump a lump of gold. Logic,…reason,…collaboration,…etc have no place in the Trump Administration. They prefer lumps of gold. And if there is a coherent international strategy, it is to support Putin (in all things), and then just cause as much trouble as possible, while claiming to solve 8 wars in six months. ?? Or solving 10 wars in three months? Or 8 wars in an afternoon? …. What a fucking moron.

So we are stuck in continuous loop of rantings from a weak, wanna-be dictator, with sycophants of limited abilities, holding the fort. To be clear this is dangerous. Trump has assembled a team of 3rd stringers for his cabinet, and we will pay for this. When (not if,… but when) the stock market goes south big time, Trump does not have the cabezas (heads) nor the horsepower to solve this type of problem (or any serious problem). When a real problem rises up, Trump and his administration will start blaming others and attacking others (it is the only thing they are able or CAN do). Think of our Secretary of Education who did not know what AI (artificial intelligence) was!!?Trump’s team will obfuscate, blame others and try to buy off anyone they can, as the problem gets out of hand. That is their MO. They do not solve problems. They blame others.

For example, they do not have a team that can actually make or develop trade agreements. Any sort of solid agreement requires the use of real time data, a shared strategy and honest, straight forward and transparent concessions. It has to be a give and take to arrive at a lasting agreement. Trump’s team does not have a “capacity” to make agreements. They are dorks with little business acumen and they only rubber stamp what small-brain, Trump wants. So we are all fucked in the short-term until somehow we pull together and stop Trump from destroying our communities, and maybe convince him to hang out in Mar-a-lago while his Maga support crumbles. We will put his cronies in jail.

What is in the Epstein Files??? OMG!!!

Trump is terrified of what is in the Epstein files. Absolutely terrified.

I just gotta ask. Why is Trump so scared of the release of the Epstein files? What,… now Maga Mike Johnson has cancelled another week of work at the Capitol for GOP House Representatives, to stop the 218th vote to release the Epstein files from being sworn in. Really amazing!? But they can only put it off so long, unless Trump declares Marshall Law.

Yeah. Trump is considering declaring Marshall Law so nobody learns what is in the Epstein files. We are in a dangerous spot.

So the corruption grows and gets thicker and darker and shittier and stinkier as Trump and his billionaire friends implement their Project 2025.

Comments are welcome below. Anybody care to speculate about why Trump is scared shitless about the release of the Epstein files? Anyone?,… anyone?,….Bueller? Bueller?

US Agriculture’s Count Down to Misery

We are in for some real shit coming down the pike regarding our food supply, control of production and prices.

Who is purchasing US commodities now with Trump’s tariffs in place?

What do we know right now?

On “Liberation Day”, the Trump Administration implemented (and then not, and then again, and then again not) a series of tariffs on all our trading partners in the world. I won’t get into to what tariffs are because I believe we are all getting a pretty good, continued education on the subject.

Many countries implemented counter tariffs of their own on US products, but more importantly, EVERY country immediately began to negotiate with new sources for important commodities that the US farmers provide (corn, beef, pork, wheat, soy beans, etc.) China is a huge market for soybeans, pork, wheat and corn and with the ,… what,.. 165% tariff? that the US has levied on China, they quit buying US commodities, sourcing instead from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, etc. But no longer with the United States.

One of the first, and stupidest things that Trump and his derelicts did was cancel and destroy the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which annually purchases an important part of US farmers commodities which then are made available to other countries through various programs.

So, …”Who is buying American commodities now with Trump’s tariffs in place?” I would say the answer is … “nobody is or will be“, unless there is no other option, or if they are pressured into buying from the US. I see no strategy or positive benefit from the administration’s rhetoric or actions. In fact, Trump is destroying our economy and future with his tariffs which he is using to line his own pockets.

What is happening with labor in the Ag Sector?

The labor market is being destroyed as Immigrant and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents raid farms, home improvement stores, courts, restaurants, hotels, or what have you in their search of brown/black/yellow/red skins to put into Trump concentration camps. It is pretty much a no brainer that many farms/ranches/factories have lost their labor force for at least a year. And honestly, after the work of Trump and ICE, there will be problems with labor for years to come (of course, robotics will be used more heavily).

What about collapses of Red Ag State Economies? Will that be an issue?

For years, irresponsible and/or stupid GOP State Congressmen/women in Red States have cut taxes for large corporations and the wealthy, suggesting that with more money in their pockets, the corporations and wealthy will invest more, and create more jobs. We all know that the “trickle down effect” does not work, or that is,… everyone except uninformed and/or uneducated GOP congressional State Representatives. So after years of giving tax breaks to the wealthy and large corporations, now the Red States do not have a budget for infrastructure, education, health or anything. So many Red States will “go broke” (need Federal assistance to operate).

There seems to be a general lack of understanding or reading of history on the part of Red State GOP politicians, especially as related to agriculture production and markets.

And to answer the question,… of course the collapse of the State government will impact farmers and ag production. Many Red States will have to request Federal Funding to bail them out, after making many bad decisions over many years.

And where does an important part of federal revenue come from? Yeah, the Blue States that actually raise tax revenue from corporations as well as from healthy state economies. Blue states will have to bail out the Red states, while the politicians in the Red states seem intent on doing harm to the people responsible for bailing them out?

Final Insult to our Local Farmers

The final insult by Trump and his administration, was to cut funding for local food banks purchasing fresh produce from small, local producers in the community. For several years now, food banks like Neighborhood Impact, have been building relationships with local farmers. It is proven that fresh vegetables and fresh fruit are healthier to consume than frozen or canned goods. So for several years now, food banks have provided local produce to people who need it. This worked great because in addition to the nutrition getting to people who need it, the local producers receive a decent price for their crops/produce. Trump, Elon and his cauldron of criminals did their math and decided that 900 million dollars was too much money to spend on poor people’s diets. As they extended the tax cuts for the richest people people in the United States and plunged the US deeper into debt.

Restricting access to food is happening in the United States where somewhere between 30-40% of food produced, never reaches the table and/or is thrown away.

Tariffs + No Farm Labor + Red State Budget Shortfalls = Ag Sector Collapse Across the US

There is no getting around it, crops are standing in the field and many will not find their way to dinner tables this year. The tariffs have closed the global market for most US farmers (for at least this season). The shameful ICE program is decimating the availability of farm labor. And uninformed and/or stupid State Legislators in Red, Ag States will request free money from the Trump (really the taxes collected in Blue States) to backstop their State budgets in the red.

Already farm and ranch owners are sweating out the future. Many say they support Trump because “other countries have been taking advantage of us for years”, with tears streaming down their cheeks. Even Trump knows this is just dumb! But Red America has bought it hook, line and sinker, so they hang on until the end. So now, many will lose their farms and ranches as annual lines of credit become due and markets collapse.

Final Bonus Questions:

Who will purchase the bankrupt farms and ranches?

Please take a guess on how many farms and ranches will go bankrupt in each State during the coming year? Will some States suffer more than others?

Who or how will labor needs be addressed for ag producers for next season and in the future?

With the collapse of the ag sector, what will happen to commodity prices and who will control them?

Please put your answers in the comments below and let’s be nice to each other as we discuss this? Thank you.

My Background

To start off, I want to mention a few things about me, my experience and my education. I grew up on a Montana cattle ranch/wheat farm. Until I was 30 years old, I was involved with managing a 30,000 acre operation. In the early 1980s and under a lot of financial stress, a brother and I worked out a land sale to pay off a Production Credit Association (PCA) line of credit that was at 21% (annual interest rate of 21%!). And after that we broke approximately 6000 acres of rangeland and converted it to farm ground to go with the cattle operation. I have two brothers with large cattle/wheat ranches in Montana. Another brother that is building a large ranch on the Snake River, and another brother that is a large and small animal veterinarian. Ag was and is the foundation for many of my immediate family member’s lives.

I have worked in a dairy, personally milking 120 cows twice a day. I have sheared sheep. I have rode bulls and broncs. I can run almost any sort of agricultural machinery, with 10 minutes of orientation. I grew up country and ag is in my bones. I consider myself a well traveled, Montana country boy. Country boy being the most important characteristic.

A couple of other things that I want to mention is that I have imported from Spain and Mexico to the United States for years (since 2012). I have paid US tariffs on Spanish merchandise with the highest tariff being a 15% tariff on coffee cups. Short story – after I imported mugs once, I realized that I could not price them competitively with the tariff on top, so I quit importing mugs from Spain. And right now our company has put a hold on most imports from Europe (25% tariff) until there is more stability and clarity in the market.

One final thing is that I have a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University. I studied international economics and economic development. I have worked and lived in four different countries (New Zealand, Honduras, Chile & Spain). I understand what fascism is, and I have lived in a country where a military dictator was in charge that nobody questioned. Even when if it involved a young girl going missing from the population, and the principal suspect being the military dictator.

So this is some of the experiences that inform my opinion.

Trump’s “Brown Shirts”

With the new law resulting from the “Big Beautiful Bill”, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) will have a larger annual budget than the FBI. Currently, the FBI has approximately 13,000 agents in the field, with approximately 20,000 contracted experts and support staff.

In 2024, ICE had a workforce of approximately 22,000 workers, but now with the new law, ICE will add more than 10,000 ICE agents to the agency, …making it the BIGGEST NATIONWIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN THE US!! Here are some bullet points regarding ICE and the recently passed law.

  • ICE will have a bigger budget than the FBI !?
  • ICE will have a larger budget than most country militaries in the world. For example, Israel’s $30.5 billion defense budget is approximately 7 billion dollars less than that of ICE on an annual basis.
  • “The latest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) statistics show that as of June 29, there were 57,861 people detained and 41,495 — 71.7 per cent — had no criminal convictions”. (The Associated Press · Posted: Jul 14, 2025 4:51 AM PDT)
  • “According to ICE data, its agents arrested roughly 30,000 immigrants last month, the most since monthly data was made publicly available in November 2020. But the number of immigrants deported in June — more than 18,000 — amounted to roughly half the number of arrests” (NBC News July 10, 2025, 3:00 AM PDT)

Trump and the GOP are creating an economy of concentration camps for people that are arrested (with no criminal record), which they are unable to deport for various legal reasons.

So I have a couple of questions. If you are inclined, please provide your answer in the comments.

1. After a several years of deporting and depleting the population of brown/black/yellow/red people in the United States, what will the police force of ICE do with all their agents and budget? Patrol the border with 30,000 agents? Or send the agents after another portion of the population?

2. What will happen with all the people detained in places like the Florida Alligator Alcatraz (that the Trump administration is not able to deport)?

3. Trump and his admin are pushing the narrative of “scary, dangerous criminals from other countries” in our communities. Final questions: Have you seen any of these dangerous people in your community,… ever? What is Trump talking about? Or is he just trying to further divide the nation and build a personal police force to terrorize anyone he doesn’t like?

Opinions are welcome.

Schadenfreude: A Liberal’s view of politics from Red Oregon

We are in the shit. Trump and his army of miscreants are dismantling our government, destroying the rule of law, threatening judges and whistleblowers, using creeps with full facial masks to apprehend US citizens and then drop them overseas in horrendous conditions, in foreign prisons managed by dictators. These are just a few of the initiatives being implemented by Trump with his executive orders. There are so many more. his destruction of education for our young people, his intention of reducing Medicare, Medicaid and revamping Social Security so people receive less when they retire. If Trump has his way, he will destroy our universities, destroy our museums, destroy our cultural heritage by infusing it with propaganda and lies. Trump is set on creating a dreadful world where he and his supporters can take advantage of everyone else.

Here in the short video, we have a story of Trump corruption during the first 100 days. Just the beginning. Corruption, lies, greed and disease are the just a few of the marauding horsemen of the current administration. U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), provides a summary of the corruption during the first 100 days.

I fear for the future of our children and experience anxiety about the future of our democratic republic while at the same time, I enjoy a certain amount of certainty (schadenfreude) that Trump and his army of miscreants will create such a mess of our country and economy, that there will be political upheaval, and they will be thrown out on their butts eventually.

Germans have a word for experiencing pleasure in response to other people's grief or misfortune. The word is Schadenfreude (damage-joy). Many cultures do not have a word for enjoying other's misfortunes and indeed it is rather shameful really. But Germany does have a word for enjoying other's misfortunes and other countries and cultures have adopted the German word in their vocabulary. The word is not yet established in the US language but with division and hate as principal characteristics of our politics, schadenfreude is becoming part of our language.

As a democrat, I believe the government should provide health care for all, good quality public education for all children, fair taxes paid by all (especially billionaires), and that small businesses are the backbone of this country. I am for the working man and woman of America.

Trump is creating a world where all western countries are our “enemies”, and suggesting that Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and North Korea? are our friends?). And with the “Big Beautiful Bill”, Trump and his bottom feeders are poised to make the biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in the history of the United States.1

Trump is destroying our country. Wake up everyone! We need to band together to defeat this sod and the disease and corruption of this administration.

Destroy our Western Alliance? Destroy our government? WTF? Nobody wanted that?

What the fuck is going on? Why is Trump destroying US relationships with other western countries? Countries that share the same values as we do? Countries that believe in free elections, human rights, accountable leadership, individual freedom and rule of law?

For decades the alliance of free and democratic countries has provided a bulwark against aggression and the spread of authoritarianism, fascism or communism. Article 5 of the NATO is registers the principal that “an attack on one is an attack on all”. Now Trump wants out.

People in western countries believe in economic freedom, open markets, free enterprise, freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of movement, and the belief in personal freedom. I guess these freedoms are not convenient for Trump?

None of these western values are respected or protected in a dictatorship. None. So why is Trump so intent on destroying our relationships with other democracies and allying with Putin and Russia?

Trump’s “Mandate”

Trump won the 2024 Presidential election with 49.8% of the popular vote. So almost half of the people who voted in the United States voted for Trump. And in total percentage of the US population, that would mean approximately 33% of the people in the US, voted for Trump. One third.

Among the hot button issues of the election were, food prices, energy prices, immigration and DEI. Nobody, nowhere supported the destruction of our western alliance. Maybe Bannon and Musk were on board before the election? But allying with Putin was not a mandate of the 50% of the population that supported Trump.

Now, less than 40% of the US population supports Trump, and since the first weeks of his administration he decides to destroy our democracy single handedly? !!

Trump to be the Law?

On February 18, 2025, President Donald Trump signed an executive order titled “Ensuring Accountability for All Agencies”. This new order is to increase presidential oversight of independent regulatory bodies – granting the president the authority to determine the law and who must follow it. The Guardian

I will say that again. Trump just dropped an order that will allow him to determine what the law is and who must follow it.

How many times have we heard Trump say that judges who rule against him are biased or politically motivated? Be real. Every single time! Every time, Trump thinks he is right and whoever is against him, …. wrong.

Now with the new executive order, Trump gives himself the power to determine the truth, and make people follow it. So for instance, if a judge makes a ruling he doesn’t like he will correct the judge and maybe throw the judge in jail? (I guess he would be able to do that with collaboration from cretins at the Attorney General and FBI?)

We are almost completely fucked people! Now is the time. We need to stand together and get a game plan put together to get this mean, gigantically corrupt, evil son of a bitch of a felon, out of the Whitehouse and out of our government. We all have to start somewhere.

Comments and suggestions are almost always welcome.

You can pay me now,… or pay me later!

If you grew up in the 70s and 80s like I did, you might remember a television ad promoting regular changes of Fram oil filters. Their campaign argument was that you can replace the $4 dollar oil filters regularly, ….. or face a major engine overhaul costing hundreds of dollars. You choose. Pay me now, or pay me later!

USAID and Foreign Aid

USAID, or the United States Agency for International Development, is the government agency that handles foreign aid and development. President Kennedy established USAID in 1961, and since then it’s been working in over 100 countries to support economic growth, healthcare, education, democracy, and disaster relief. In FY 2023, USAID administered more than 40 billion dollars in programs designed to build stronger communities and align with U.S. foreign policy goals. USAID has missions in many of the US Embassies and carries out projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Now, Trump will eliminate USAID and cut 10,000 workers, leaving 300 souls that will join the US State Department to manage US aid collaboration with other countries (I guess that is what the 300 people will do?).

Will the elimination of USAID improve the security of the United States? What is your opinion? After we ditch our former partners, are they going to stand by wringing their hands and khashing their teeth? Or after we leave, … will China or Russia step in to fill the empty void created by Trump?

Bombs or Butter?

Nation States such as the United States, China, or Russia each have global and national security and economic interests. Each country develops their own economic and military alliances to ensure security and prosperity. And there are two ways that the countries can influence other nation states.

  • Bombs: By using military threats and dropping bombs on other countries to make them collaborate in a way that is beneficial to the security of the United States. Or
  • Butter: By providing development assistance to improve agriculture, health care, education etc in each country, fomenting long term, mutually beneficial alliances.

Which strategy costs more? Let me see? The budget for USAID in 2023 was 40 billion while military expenditures in the US rose to approximately $900 billion (statista.com).

Which strategy offers better long term results for the money spent? Is it better to buy more bombs and bullets and encourage collaboration by destroying other people’s home and community if they don’t cooperate? Or is it better to invest in other countries economy and health care, along with fostering better education for children?

Of course it is a combination of both,….normally.

USAID is the oil filter. And Trump and the military establishment don’t have time for changing oil filters. They will climb in their clown car completely full of fools, and push the pedal to the metal, until the engine rods start knocking and a full engine overhaul is required (ie military intervention and/or dropped bombs and rockets). Maybe Trump will start with Canada – his enemy to the north?

As a result of Trump’s many inept and blundering executive orders, I believe the US economy will fall behind China in the next decade. Already the BRIC countries, which represent 40% of the world’s population, are forming into an important economic and political alliance. Our own NATO alliance represents approximately 12% of the world’s population. If we are not actively cultivating world wide partners, the United States will get their ass in a crack fairly quickly.

But Trump won’t care at that point (or any point really). He and other “world people” will be stretched out on folding chairs in the new Gaza Riviera, sipping martinis.

Anyone else have an opinion on Trump’s move to eliminate USAID?

The Gipper’s Gifts to America

During the 1970s gas prices were high and the stock market was in the doldrums. The oil companies were restricting supply and Iran had taken hostages and would not return them. Things were not going well and people in the United States were looking for change. Jimmy Carter was president and an his opponent was an actor from California, a two term Governor who was sometimes referred to as the “Gipper”. A young Ronald Reagan had played the Gipper in a popular 1940 movie called “Knute Rockne, All American”. The movie was about a football hero at Notre Dame who who died young, of a a strep infection in 1920. The moniker “gipper” stuck to Reagan during his time as President. Much of the US public fell head over heels for the Gipper, and believed Reagan could do no wrong. I think there are similarities between the Gipper and newly elected Trump.

Reagan and his team brought new policies to the Presidency, and these policies have impacted the social and economic fabric of the United States over the decades. Consider some of his most important policy changes and the impact they have had on our society and economy.

Reaganomics and the Laffer Curve: Reagan and his team implemented a new economic policy – “supply-side economics”. The Gipper argued that rich people and large corporations were taxed too heavily, and that by lowering the tax rate more revenue would be collected from the wealthy because they would invest more – leading to more business, more jobs and economic growth. Lower individual and corporate tax rates, coupled with deregulation and reduced government spending were rolled into the Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 which aimed to stimulate economic growth.

The Laffer Curve (below, …you can’t make this shit up) was popularized during Reagan’s administration, suggesting that after a point, the more you tax the wealthy, the less revenue is collected. The Laffer Curve and supply side economics has been debunked through the decades, but the policy is still being implemented by the GOP at the State levels and now again, by Trump and his new administration.

Critics argue and data proves that supply side economics disproportionately benefits the wealthy and contributes to income inequality. We all know this. Evidence is overwhelming, and yet Trump is going to again cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations.

Consider for example, the growth in the number of millionaires and billionaires in the United States from mid 1970s to 2024, and the disappearing middle class.

Millionaires: There were approximately 180,000 individuals in the U.S. with a net worth of $1 million or more in the mid 1970s. Now there are 22 million, accounting for about 6.6% of the population.

Billionaires: In 1982 there were only 13 billionaires in the country. Now there are approximately 748. (Data from Fortune and Statista)

Disappearing Middle Class: The middle class is shrinking in the United States, due to the widening gap between the wealthy and the rest of the population. In the 1970s, the middle class—defined as households earning two-thirds to double the national median income—represented approximately 61% of the population. By the 2020s, the middle class had contracted to about 50%, according to Pew Research Center. Now, roughly 4 out of every 10 Americans does not have any savings and would struggle to pay an unexpected bill of $600. Trump’s aim to lower tax rates for the wealthy and corporations is wrong headed and will lead to more inequality and unrest.

Into the Street with the Crazies!!

Another important policy that the Gipper implemented was to accelerate the closure of federal mental institutions pushing many mentally disturbed citizens into the street. Reagan’s 1981 Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act shifted funding for mental health services from the federal government to states, significantly reducing budgets. This resulted in inadequate health care support for many mentally ill individuals, and coupled with declining affordable housing, and stagnant wages has lead to a large and increasing homeless population with many people suffering from mental health issues and no where to turn.

Reagan’s innovative new policies of the 1980s have lead to increased income inequality and more homeless people with mental health issues and no support. Two very important issues for the shrinking middle class of America.

And now here we are in 2025 with the call for change and the new GOP administration. What will be the impacts of Trump’s new policies?

1. Ukraine war? If Trump supports Putin, what will the world look like in 10 years? Will the United States be a leader in the world? Part of NATO or in an alliance with Russia and Saudi Arabia? How are relations with Canada, Mexico, South America and Europe?

2. Abandon or destroy US public health care? Trump has reversed drug price controls to begin with, has proposed cuts to Medicare and he wants to abandon the Affordable Care Act, suggesting that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can provide a lever for improved healthcare. What will our world look like in 10 years if Trump throws out the Affordable Care Act? AI will not cut it for the poor says I.

4. Removal undocumented workers?: Everyone understands the need to control a country’s borders and no one that I know of is against it. We all seem to be on the same page. During this past year, Trump and his team stopped a bi-partisan bill that would have solved many of the problems at the border. The GOP squashed the bill so they could run on the problems related to illegal immigration. Totally irresponsible of Trump and the GOP, but pretty much standard fare for the current GOP. There are certain industries in the States (construction and agriculture come to mind), where undocumented workers are necessary for the companies to produce. Trump doesn’t seem to understand that his new policy may harm the US economy in an important way. 10 years from now, the evidence will be in and what will it reveal?

3. Reduced taxes for the wealthy and large corporations? …..just so wrong for the moment we are in and the future of the country (see above). Just wrong and bad for America, exacerbating current problems that are deteriorating the fabric of our society.

5. Removal of the “Deep State”: Trump and his team are set on destroying what they call the deep state. Specific policies of Trump and his administration aim to get rid of merit based government employees and replacement them with Trumpers that will do the administrations bidding without thought of the impact and consequences of the actions. In 10 years we will clearly see the damage Trump has done to America.

6. Rule of people, … no longer a “rule of law”: Trump is a convicted felon. Indicted by a grand jury of his peers, and then convicted by a jury of his peers. The man is a convicted criminal and clearly lacks morals and ethics. Until 2025, everyone in the United States was subject to the rule of law. That is, that even if you were the President, if you perpetrated a crime, you were held responsible by the law. Now, it doesn’t matter what the laws say. Some people are held responsible, and others with the right political connections, are not held responsible. Wonder what could go wrong with this over the next 10 years?

7. Tariffs on our neighbors? Nobody is sure that Trump actually understands how tariffs work. I mean he is the President, so he should have someone on his staff that he trusts, that could explain how they work to him. But for sure we will have the opportunity to look at data in a couple of years and see the havoc that Trump will reap on the US economy with his ignorance and corruption.

8. Destroy public education? What is Trump up to with education? Will he and his delinquents destroy public education? And install religious doctrine in education? What could go wrong with this?

And other Trump policies affecting State budgets and responsibilities, wind, solar, the Paris Climate Accord, cancelled DEI, left wing, “unconstitutional censorship” by the federal government are among the policies that will have long term impact on US society and the economy. Trump will surely turn Reagan’s “shining city upon a hill” into a windblown wasteland of dilapidated buildings, with tumbleweeds rolling through deserted streets.

What is your opinion? Which of Trump’s policies will most harm the United States in the long run? Which policy will be the most positive for America? Opinions are welcome in the comments.
