Trump’s “Brown Shirts”

With the new law resulting from the “Big Beautiful Bill”, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) will have a larger annual budget than the FBI. Currently, the FBI has approximately 13,000 agents in the field, with approximately 20,000 contracted experts and support staff.

In 2024, ICE had a workforce of approximately 22,000 workers, but now with the new law, ICE will add more than 10,000 ICE agents to the agency, …making it the BIGGEST NATIONWIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN THE US!! Here are some bullet points regarding ICE and the recently passed law.

  • ICE will have a bigger budget than the FBI !?
  • ICE will have a larger budget than most country militaries in the world. For example, Israel’s $30.5 billion defense budget is approximately 7 billion dollars less than that of ICE on an annual basis.
  • “The latest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) statistics show that as of June 29, there were 57,861 people detained and 41,495 — 71.7 per cent — had no criminal convictions”. (The Associated Press · Posted: Jul 14, 2025 4:51 AM PDT)
  • “According to ICE data, its agents arrested roughly 30,000 immigrants last month, the most since monthly data was made publicly available in November 2020. But the number of immigrants deported in June — more than 18,000 — amounted to roughly half the number of arrests” (NBC News July 10, 2025, 3:00 AM PDT)

Trump and the GOP are creating an economy of concentration camps for people that are arrested (with no criminal record), which they are unable to deport for various legal reasons.

So I have a couple of questions. If you are inclined, please provide your answer in the comments.

1. After a several years of deporting and depleting the population of brown/black/yellow/red people in the United States, what will the police force of ICE do with all their agents and budget? Patrol the border with 30,000 agents? Or send the agents after another portion of the population?

2. What will happen with all the people detained in places like the Florida Alligator Alcatraz (that the Trump administration is not able to deport)?

3. Trump and his admin are pushing the narrative of “scary, dangerous criminals from other countries” in our communities. Final questions: Have you seen any of these dangerous people in your community,… ever? What is Trump talking about? Or is he just trying to further divide the nation and build a personal police force to terrorize anyone he doesn’t like?

Opinions are welcome.
